There certainly needs to be an "enlightenment" filter for any new immigrant to either Europe or the Western Hemisphere. Individuals who do not automatically accept the full equality of women, the need for tolerance of all faiths including none, and a respect for a liberal education for all children should be turned away at the gates. Who needs them? They do nothing for the economy, for the culture or for the future of progressive ideas.

The way Peter Collier has debated the juxtapostion of ideologies in his wisdom-ridden article, deserves appreciation. Yet one fact that I would like add here is that if there is any truth regarding the emergence of Islamofacsism, then one has to also accept the truth that this attitude of Islamists has been in response to the Christino-totalitarianism- an emerging feature of the delusional democracy of the West that the West has been applying to win its vested interests in the Muslim lands.
