Return of the Viktator?

I recently spent some time in Hungary, where, since winning a crushing victory in 2010, Prime Minister Viktor Orban and his Fidesz party have set about transforming the country with a raft of new laws, a new constitution, and the revival of a nationalist discourse. In the process, they have raised the ire not only of the country's decimated and divided political opposition, but international civil society groups, the European Commission and the United States.
