I feel like hell this week and can’t write. I can read okay, but I can’t write and I can’t move around a whole lot. Most liklely my long and grueling backpacking trip at high elevation weakened my immune system, though it’s nothing serious and I should be back to normal in a couple of days.
While partly out of commission I’m reading Enough Rope, a collection of short crime stories by Lawrence Block, and Into Thin Air, Jon Krakaeur’s gripping account of the 1996 disaster on Mount Everest. I can heartily recommend both.
