Gloria S. Riviera has worked as a foreign correspondent since 2003. From 2002 to 2003, she covered the United Nations from New York, where she focused on the inner-workings of the Security Council, the hunt for weapons of mass destruction, and the IAEA. From 2003 to 2006, she continued to cover international affairs reporting on conflict zones in Iraq, Israel, and Lebanon. From 2006 to 2010, she was based in London where she traveled to the Middle East, Africa and Europe reporting on diplomatic affairs, the global economy and women's issues. She is now based in Beijing and reports on Asia.
