James Denton is the publisher and editor of WorldAffairsJournal.org and co-directs the Transatlantic Renewal Project. He previously directed Freedom House and Heldref Publications. In a consulting capacity, he has represented Lech Walesa and Prime Ministers Viktor Orban of Hungary and Zoran Djindjic of Serbia, the OSCE, the National Democratic Institute, RIA Novosti, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and the Folger Shakespeare Library. He served in the US Navy as an anti-submarine warfare and communications officer as well as in special operations. He has two perfect daughters and resides in Washington, DC.
